An article in the edition of July 22nd last, concerning a personal injury case by Lavinia Kerwick against the Sunday World, stated, on the basis of information supplied to the reporter, that Ms Kerwick will receive “substantial High Court damages”. The Sunday World has pointed out that the statement of substantial damages being paid is not correct.

An article in last Tuesday’s edition on the death of Brian McKeown said he was the founder of Trócaire. In fact it was founded by the Irish Catholic Bishops Conference. Mr McKeown served as its director for two decades.
