Mr Anthony Lyons: In a court report published on June 19th concerning a challenge to the will of the late art collector Gordon Lambert it was not made clear that one of his three executors, Mr Anthony Lyons, inadvertently identified as Andrew Lyons, had in fact long since delivered a full defence and was not a party to the application then before the court.
The report was also in error in suggesting that Mr Lambert's extensive collection was left in trust to Imma on foot of the will. As was made clear in a second article published in adjacent columns the late Mr Lambert made a major donation to Imma in 1992 and other donations prior to his death.
The page one article in yesterday's edition incorrectly stated that the Live Register for unemployment benefits had climbed to a 20-year high. In fact, the Live Register total is at its highest since February 1998. The error occured in the editing process.
