Sir, – Touching base to say “Plus 1″. I am fully aligned with Mary Connell (Letters, June 3rd) for bringing a high-level idea to the table on accelerating learnings by introducing “management-speak” to Junior and Leaving Certs. I applaud her blue-sky thinking toward pushing the envelope here.
Our schoolchildren already hot-desk in many classes, and we can take this to the next level. They would no doubt benefit from this game-changing, low-hanging fruit of “management-speak”, which seems like a no-brainer going forward. Let’s hit the ground running and get this actioned by leveraging some big-picture, joined-up thinking. It’s not rocket science! –Yours, etc,
