Sir, – An open and frank discussion on positive change within the Irish Catholic Church is needed.
I was heartened to listen to a female Reverend on the Ryan Tubridy (RTE radio) show recently, speaking positively about her career and vocation.
The synod needs to hear the views of all people both inside and outside the Catholic Church.
It would be a wonderful and necessary progression to allow female priests within the Catholic Church.
