Sir, – Your correspondent from the UK questions whether Ireland is a “beacon of enlightenment” and wonders, if it really is a beacon, why there is no rail link from Dublin Airport to Dublin city, a distance of 11km (Letters, June 15th). If that is the biggest criticism he can find of today’s society in Ireland, I suggest we really do have a Utopia here. – Yours, etc,
