Sir, – I enjoyed the witty profiling of the very worst of airline passengers (Abroad, June 30th). I did not need the ageism and the latent misogyny of a term like “Karen” that detracted from the article’s thrust. Whereas one has (supposed) control over the angle of their haircut or the cut of their jeans, being a particular age or sex is not something we can be blamed for. – Yours, etc,
