Sir, – The recent Government decision to proceed with the Dublin airport Metrolink project pre-empts the outcome the Department of Transport Strategic Rail Review and the NTA Greater Dublin Area Transport Strategy. Both of these went to public consultation earlier in 2022 and include airport rail connectivity in their terms of reference. This points to further incoherence in our transport planning process. – Yours, etc,
