Sir, – As I awaited a flight from Knock to Bergamo on Monday, I was not spared the royal coverage on wall-to-wall TVs in the departure lounge, despite complaining and asking for them to be turned off or the channel changed.
Why must we put up with this imposed mourning of another country’s oppressive monarchy’s head?
The mass hysteria imposed by the mainstream media bears no relationship to the feelings of the people in Ireland I have spoken to in the last few days.
