EPA report on lakes and waterways

Sir, – The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a report on the declining state of Irish lakes and rivers (News, October 13th).

The report covers the years 2016 to 2021.

Isn’t it time to undertake and publish such investigations on an annual basis? – Yours, etc,
