Sir, – It was wonderful to see members of the Australian World Cup panel issue a statement criticising Qatar’s human rights record (Sport, October 27th). I wonder whether other teams will follow the Australian example.
Wouldn’t it be even nicer to see statements of criticism followed by a boycott of the event? – Yours, etc,
