A chara, – Sitting up very early with a cup of tea and the daily delivered Irish Times, I have been suitably buoyed by the Comment & Letters page (December 1st), with a cheerful account by Frank McNally in the Irishman’s Diary of Louisa May Alcott being a bit of a bigot, letters on whether to chill red wine, how to get a grip on my mattress (useful as I remade my bed), and meditations on the right to be lazy.
A wonderful diversity. Thank you. – Is mise,
