Sir, – Fintan O’Toole may be correct in calling Elon Musk a man-child (“Musk’s tantrum exposes the driving force of capitalism”, Opinion & Analysis, December 20th).
Mr Musk may also be what the Maoists used to call a “capitalist roader”.
However, I would sooner travel in one of Musk’s Tesla cars or SpaceX rockets than in any equivalent that Fintan O’Toole or the rest of the left’s hurlers on the ditch might devise.
Elon Musk deserves credit too for providing his SpaceX-built Starlink internet service to Ukraine for free. It provides a vital digital lifeline for both soldiers and their families and friends. – Yours, etc,
