Sir, – The joint declaration on EU-Nato cooperation issued on January 10th states that: “Nato and the EU play complementary, coherent and mutually reinforcing roles in supporting international peace and security”. We perhaps should heed John Linehan (Letters, January 21st) and call for a little more caution when urging people to rid themselves of Eurosceptic tendencies. – Yours, etc,
