Driving test centres

Far-flung locations

Sir, – One way to immediately reduce emissions would be reopen the Driver Test Centre in Drogheda which closed at the end of February, leaving learners (and those who must accompany them) driving huge distances to Dundalk, Navan or elsewhere on numerous occasions to practice and do the test. Drogheda is the biggest town in Ireland and there is no reason it should not have its own test centre. – Yours, etc,

LAURA CULLEN,

Mornington,

Co Meath.
