Sir, – It might be a little pedantic but is it too much to expect journalists in the paper of record to know the difference between less and fewer? It’s bad enough having to listen to reporters on the national broadcaster refer to the amount of traffic without having to read about “less people (sic) buying houses” in an Irish Times article on house prices. – Yours etc
