Sir, – If Tony Corcoran (Letters, May 3rd) is worried about divulging his spending patterns and product choices in order to avail of lower prices in his local supermarket, there is an easy solution. Swap your card with somebody else! You will then get the benefits of lower prices while at the same time the supermarket chain will not know what you are buying, or where or when you are buying it. – Yours, etc,
