Sir, – Another failure to progress beyond the semi-final stage of the Eurovision Song Contest. Having previously been extremely successful in this contest, we are now among the minnows. This is a national crisis and it needs serious corrective action. Maybe it’s time for a tribunal investigating what has gone wrong in recent years, followed by a citizens’ assembly and then rounded off with a referendum. This will take some time but what’s another year? – Yours, etc,
