Minister must address problems with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service

Sir, – I noted the opinion piece by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly regarding restricting smartphone access to children for their own wellbeing (“Should school smartphone pacts be considered nationwide?”, Opinion & Analysis, May 31st). Given his clear concern for young people’s mental health, I look forward to the Minister’s article on how he is going to address the major issues recently identified with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (Camhs). – Yours, etc,
