Sir, – I see that the Bishop of Kilmore is keen to draw our attention to a policy the bishops discussed last March, about using 30 per cent of church grounds as a haven for biodiversity. I should counsel some caution in this regard. We’ve certainly achieved a degree of diversity, but we need to stop and think long and hard before we rush into this; we’ve really had quite enough church pollinators to last us a lifetime. – Yours, etc,
ALASTAIR CONAN,
Surrey.
