Sir, – It is a common mistake made by many in the Irish media that the Late Late Show is the world’s longest running chat show (Television, September 15th). It is not. The Tonight Show on NBC in the United States has been on the air since 1954, seven years before there was an Irish television service. – Yours, etc,
