A chara, – John O’Hagan (Letters, September 16th), and indeed The Irish Times (Editorial, September 13th) have nothing to worry about should it come to referendums on changes to EU treaties.
Ireland has a unique, if not comical, reputation for compliance, with our willingness to vote and vote again until we get it right.
Other than that, Lisbon and Nice are lovely cities and well worth a visit. – Yours, etc,
