A chara, – I concur with Eileen Bannan regarding nylon rope washed up on Irish beaches (Letters, October 31st). For years, while walking the dog, I have been picking up similar nylon rope in the Rusheen Bay area of Galway. I reckon I have enough now to reach the moon!
