Sir, – Upon the opening of the new Macroom bypass, a letter writer (Letters, November 9th) states it’s over 30 years since they heard an early articulation of the rationale for the development.
One can imagine a similarly themed letter published in the future on the topic of a Dublin underground. Although it’ll probably be a centenarian who writes it. – Yours, etc,
