Sir, – Whatever about the management problems that seem to bedevil the FAI, as I read your report “FAI risks missing out on millions in funding as general assembly votes against adding female directors” (News, November 11th), I thought perhaps we need to go back a bit and ask why is the Government using taxpayers’ money to fund professional sport at all. – Yours, etc,
