Sir, – As I’m incurring some hefty dental expenses that will exceed the (relatively modest) limit on my credit card, I applied to Bank of Ireland for a limit increase and completed the online application.
Bless their cotton socks, back came an auto reply: since I had exceeded my credit limit the bank could not approve a credit limit increase.
