Sir, – It was great to see so many people taking part in the Santa Dash in St Anne’s Park, Clontarf, on a beautiful Sunday morning. However, it was not so great to see the bins overflowing with the cheap disposable Santa costumes afterwards, all presumably destined for the incinerator or landfill. – Yours, etc,
