Sir, – Continuing on from the practice on Dublin Bus of expressing gratitude as passengers alight (Letters, December 12th), I have experienced another growing generosity in some of the large grocery stores from staff sharing unused discount vouchers. Not only was there financial benefit to me, but the pleasant smile that followed was heart warming, especially in the chaos of Christmas shopping.
