Sir, – Without sounding like the Christmas Grinch, I do believe RTÉ missed out on a golden opportunity by not bringing the Joe Duffy Christmas Eve outside broadcast to the Henry Street and O’Connell Street area this year.
Following the riot and damage done to that area, I would think the local and business community in the Northside would have appreciated the extra footfall and general Christmas cheer. – Yours, etc,
