Sir, – I would like to congratulate the Army on its professionalism during the State funeral of the late taoiseach John Bruton. May he rest in peace.
A State funeral is a rare event; it would not be part of everyday Army training. The precision, the dignity and the solemnity of those participating were admirable and as a nation we should be justly proud of all involved. – Yours, etc,
