Sir, – When elections were held in the 1950s it was possible to tune into Raidió Éireann and hear the details of all election counts as they occurred, so that the listener could write down the figures of all of those counts.
Fast-forward to the 2020s. There is extensive coverage of the election counts but much of it is generalised, repetitive and delayed.
Information technology has changed so much but it seems that some services have got lost in the mix. – Yours, etc,
