The Irish Times - Letters to the Editor.

Sir, – Fintan Lane finds it “troubling” that there is no discussion around Ireland surreptitiously providing arms to Ukraine (“Creeping militarisation of the EU”, Letters, June 13th).

The one thing I find troubling is that anyone could possibly object to sending weapons to a country whose next-door neighbour is, militarily, trying to wipe it off the map. If this marks the end of our pointless self-righteous neutrality, and the beginning of a more constructive and adult foreign policy, it is very good news. – Yours, etc,

PAUL WILLIAMS,

Kilkee,
