Sir, – I enjoyed Michael Harding’s reflections on the content and quality of breakfasts as he journeyed from Cork to Leitrim (“Petrol station black pudding gives lesson about karma”, Life, July 24th).
If he had ventured further north to Armagh, he could have enjoyed fried soda farls and a “vegetable roll” made from sausage meat. – Yours, etc,
