An absolute credit to JJ Walsh.
Keep up the good work.
It would be good if the print was a bit clearer for us golden oldies. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – I’m just a mere neophyte chess player, and I always try to solve one of JJ Walsh’s daily chess puzzles. Needless to say, I rarely if ever work out the solution.
So it’s with some trepidation that I pose the question: is there any chance you might make the black pieces on the black squares on your chess grid more identifiable? Perhaps you might consider changing the hue of the black squares to, say, a primary colour? – Yours, etc,
