Sir, – I refer to a suggestion (Letters, August 26th) that plastic bottles should be replaced with glass bottles, as they were in Zimbabwe. I spent 15 years in Harare. With hyperinflation there, you would need a wheelbarrow to carry the refunded cash in local currency for a few empty beer bottles. – Yours, etc,
