Sir, – Claire Bradley rightly complains that as an apartment block resident, she has never been canvassed (Letters, October 8th).
As a political canvasser for the last 50 years, I can tell her the usual problem is we can’t get in.
Most blocks require a fob or entry code to access them, so unless we have a member or known sympathiser in the building, we can’t get in to canvass. – Is mise,
