Chips with everything?

Feeling let down at the airport

Sir, – Perhaps it is simply a case of what the public wants, the public gets. But passing through T2 Dublin Airport a few days ago in the hope of having an Irish breakfast before getting on a flight, I was very disappointed to discover the disappearance not only of the Irish food supplier which had served delicious freshly cooked Irish breakfasts in the T2 pre-security area, but to add insult to injury to see that this had been replaced by not one but three fast-food stations. I would have thought that with the captive audience in an airport, the element of choice would be paramount. Not so. And to compound the situation, once through security, the fast-food frenzy continues. – Yours, etc,

LUCY MAHER,
