Sir, – The winning performance by our great Ireland rugby team in the game against Australia on Saturday was certainly not their best. And neither was the performance during the whole November series, excepting that against Fiji. Can the problem be the new Irish rugby jersey, which has a dinky little collar, buttoned up tightly, giving a prissy effect, ill-suited to the brave and bold demeanour expected from boys in green? – Yours, etc,
