Sir, – Tony Clayton-Lea’s “The Bob Dylan Music Quiz” asks the reader to name the song Dylan has performed the most (Music, Online, January 15th). How the answer (All Along The Watchtower – up to 2,300 times) has been arrived at is beyond me.
As anyone who has attended a Bob Dylan concert in a lifetime’s memory will testify, identifying any song that Bob Dylan performs is a tortuous exercise. I think the expression “anybody’s guess” is the more appropriate answer. – Yours, etc,
