Madam, - Whatever about Homer, it appears that Crosaire has nodded in Crossword 13,610 in last Saturday's edition. According to the solution printed on Monday, the answer to Clue 9 Down is "rhododendrum". While this pronunciation is quite frequently heard, the correct spelling is "rhododendron".
