Madam, - On your Letters page last Thursday, you published a letter calling for the retention of one aspect of our cultural heritage (Tara) from someone with the serendipitous name of Ireland, and a letter calling for the removal of another aspect of our cultural heritage (a statue of Prince Albert) from someone else who also had the serendipitous name of Ireland.
I ask you two questions: Is this a record? Are they related? As Private Eye magazine says, I think we should be told. - Yours, etc,
JOHN R REDMILL, Royal Canal Bank, Broadstone, Dublin 7.
