Sir, – Brendan O Connor Barry (August 3rd) is most presumptuous stating that I was not comparing like with like, as my dog had his rabies vaccination in March 2012 which is valid for three years.
The treatments, both of which I attended, were the same. In the interest of simplicity I did not allude to the fact that the French fee included a detailed examination of the dog's paw and tail with a tube of ointment supplied.
