Madam, – The word “kakistocracy” is defined by Dictionary.com, as “a government by the least qualified or most unprincipled citizens”. Kakistocracy originates from the Greek kakistos (worst), superlative of kasos (bad) and the Greek kratia meaning “rule”.
There you have it, the perfect word to describe our present Government and perhaps the previous Government, and the one before that, and . . . hold on a minute, have we ever had a fully-functioning democratic government or just a litany of kakistocracies of varying qualities from tolerable to diabolical?
