Sir, – As he was born in Clontarf and educated at Blackrock College and UCD, how about naming the new bridge linking Marlborough Street on the north quays to Hawkins Street, south of the Liffey, the Brian O’Driscoll Bridge? It would be a worthy salute to one of Ireland’s finest ever sportsmen. – Yours, etc,
