Sir, – I read that the Minister for Justice intends to establish a new agency to oversee the State's response to domestic violence ("State's response to domestic and sexual violence to be overseen by new agency", News, February 15th). Would it not make more sense to get the plethora of existing agencies to function properly rather than adding to the list of dysfunctional organisations under State control? – Yours, etc,
