Sir, – The chairman of an organisation calling itself the Peace and Neutrality Alliance advocates international "partnership with Russia" (Roger Cole, "Corbyn will win contest and be prime minister", Opinion & Analysis, July 15th). Mr Cole did this in an article in The Irish Times without once mentioning the fact that Russia had invaded a neighbouring country Ukraine and taken over part of its sovereign territory.
Is there too close a similarity to the Munich agreement in 1938 when parts of what was then Czechoslovakia were ceded to Hitler, or is that too literal for the Peace and Neutrality Alliance and the social media in the present day and age? – Yours, etc,
A LEAVY,
Sutton, Dublin 13.
