A problem with 'No problem'

Sir, – I could never fathom why the phrases “No problem”or indeed “No prob” replaced “You’re welcome” or “Not at all” in reply to an expression of thanks; but the latest, which I heard yesterday, “No hass” is surely worse! – Yours, etc,
