Sir, – Seamus McKenna (December 2nd) takes exception to the religious ethos in our school system and deems it "blatantly sectarian". The Constitution which underpins our republic reflects a religious ethos. It can hardly be sectarian to educate our children in a manner which is in tune with the ethos of our Constitution.
Perhaps a little tolerance for the views and beliefs of the majority is called for? – Yours, etc,
