Madam, - I read with bemusement the article in your Innovations supplement last Monday about an apparently urgent need for pre-sterilised soothers for new mothers to add to the list of "must haves" which will make life easier for them.
What is so difficult about sterilising a soother? Isn't this just another case of thinking up a product and then convincing consumers that they have a need for it?
Perhaps we should simply go the whole hog and patent a ready sterilised baby to complement the many accessories. - Yours, etc,
