AER LINGUS CRASH OF 1952

GLORIA BINIONS,

GLORIA BINIONS,

Sir, - On behalf of the relatives of the victims of the 1952 Aer Lingus air crash I would like to thank you sincerely for publishing my letter of November 29th. There was a wonderful response and an ecumenical memorial service is being held on Sunday, January 13th, at the airport church at 2 p.m.

The only families we have not been able to contact are those of William Newman, the co-pilot; Capt Laker, an off-duty pilot; William Lynch of New York; Thomas Carroll and John Stacpoole, natives of Kildorrery, Co Cork; Lily Wenman, whose grandparents lived at 14 Mountjoy Street, Dublin; John Benson and Emilie Stone, students studying in Dublin; Miss Phyllis Noakes, from England, a member of Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club; and William Good of the firm of Lincoln and Nolan, the son of a Dublin solicitor of the same name.

If any of your readers could guide me to any members of the family of these people it would be deeply appreciated. They will all be remembered on Sunday next. - Yours, etc.,
