Aer Lingus Fares

Sir, - Some weeks ago I asked Aer Lingus what the cheapest current return fares would be to Dusseldorf and to Frankfurt. I was quoted £149 and £229 respectively.

Then, as a senior citizen, I asked what the return fares would be in the coming period September/March when an age-concession is available. I was told in that case the fare would be £169 to either destination.

Need I say I am still trying to figure out the policy governing that decision. - Yours, etc.,
